Africa and Theme Parks

1. I think it is very fascinating how hard people actually work to get these kinds of pictures. Taking pictures is fun for me so I feel like traveling around the world to take pictures would be so cool. He really does capture the feelings of these animals.

2.

3. Describe it and tell me why its your favorite.
I think that this picture just does such an amazing job at showing the meaning behind it. It's very sad but also interesting at the same time.

4. What rules of photography are evident in the photos you selected, be sure to explain the rule to me? The rule that this picture is using is balance because the whole picture is exactly how it's supposed to look and it has this really creative look to it.

5. What kind of camera and lens does he use and why is this important?
He didn't use a camera lens because he didn't want to zoom in. He wanted to be close enough so that he could understand them and really tell their story which is why the is important.

6. What is his reason for taking these photos?
He takes these pictures because he likes to tell the story of these helpless animals and really capture what they're really like. He also is moved just being there on the landscape.

7. What is his hope by taking these type of photos?
His hope in taking these pictures is to show that the animals are just there watching the world get destroyed and aren't phased because they don't understand what's actually happening.

8. Find something he has to say about Africa, and post the quote on your blog.
"Every year, every month, the problems seem to grow ever greater, ever more complex and ever more intertwined with one another. Between population pressure, global warming, deforestation and poaching, the destruction is massive and escalating."
